Upcoming Meetings + Events:
That's right, our paperwork has been accepted and we are now an official non-profit 501(c)(3)!
With that good news we were able to open a bank account; we selected Beneficial State Bank because they share similar community values.
We've already deposited a few donations we received earlier in the year. To donate easily and safely, click here:
FILM SCREENING EVENT!
We hosted a powerful documentary film screening and discussion of Arc of Justice, detailing the amazing saga of New Communities, Inc., America's first community land trust.
We saw the firsthand accounts of these pioneering activists in their fight for racial justice and economic empowerment, featuring Civil Rights Icon Congressman John Lewis...then we had a great panel discussion about CLT's, housing equity, and learned from special guest Zach Murray about the current work being tackled by Oakland Community Land Trust.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event, and SacCLT looks forward to doing more events like this soon!
